Christopher Columbus

Christopher Columbus (born October 30, 1451 - died May 20, 1506 at age 54 years) was an explorer and trader who crossed the Atlantic Ocean and reached the Americas on October 12, 1492 under the flag of Castilian Spain. He believes that the small spherical Earth, and beranggap a ship can get to the Far East through the west.

Columbus was not the first person who arrived in America, which he found already occupied. He also was not the first Europeans who came to the continent because it is now widely recognized that the Vikings from Northern Europe had visited North America in the 11th century and founded the colony of L'Anse aux Meadows for a short period. There are estimates that an unknown sailor never visited America before Columbus and the source for membekalkannya glory. There are also many theories of expeditions to America by various people throughout the period.

Columbus thought that the island was still a virgin, not inhabited at all. They made berorintasi island as an extension of Spanish territory. But after the burst, Columbus was surprised to find a building that just never seen before when he landed in Africa. The building is magnificent mosque used by Islamic people to worship. Columbus originally greeted with a friendly Indian tribe, but after getting caught bad intentions come on the island, Columbus resistnsi of a lot of local residents. Some company owned fleet of Columbus' ship sunk by Indian tribes because they feel disturbed and threatened by the arrival of Columbus.
