Part of former Senator Daniel Inouye's plan for a revival of Ford Island, this museum houses a wide variety of aviation displays with a large majority relating to the attack on Pearl Harbor and World War II as well.
The museum was created to honor the memory of all those who were lost during World War II. The Honolulu Commercial Art Gallery is the presenting sponsor of the museum. For those who wish to learn more about the history of the air base, various aircraft, or Pearl Harbor memorabilia, there are numerous public events hosted by the museum throughout the year.

If you're looking for an exciting holiday or vacation spot, you won't want to miss the beautiful Us Army Museum Of Hawaii on Oahu's North Shore. The US Army Museum of Hawaii (USAMOHA) is home to one of the nation's largest collections of military history, including Civil War artifacts. This large, feature-filled museum occupies 9 acres of exhibit space and includes a General Store, Visitors Center, National Air and Space Museum, Dining Room, Gift Shop, and Game Room. 14. Honolulu Museum Of Art
Honolulu Museum of Art is a fine-looking art museum on Oahu, Hawaii. The museum is also the third largest of its kind on the island, and was founded by Anna C. Rice Cooke. It is located on the south rim of the Waikiki Beach on Oahu.
15. Ala Moana Center
The Ala Moana Center is a large public open-air mall in Honolulu, Hawaii, dedicated to Hawaii's most well-known Polynesian heritage symbol, aliaseda head of the Ka'eleku plum. The center was built in 1971 and is one of the busiest malls in Honolulu. Popular attractions include Diamond Head crater and the Hilina Slump, both located on Oahu. The center is also home to a few notable restaurants and bars including the now-famous Rainbow Lagoon and Rainbow Barbeque, both located inside the mall. It is considered the most significant commercial property on the island of Oahu and is ranked among the best malls in Hawaii according to sales volume and reputation.
16. Tantalus Lookout Puu Ualakaa State Park
The beautiful mountains and deep valleys of the Pacific northwest are the home of Hawaii's most complete and spectacular flora and fauna, including the amazingly varied array of exotic birds and reptiles. The Shangri La Hotel is on Oahu's most well-known stretch of beach. The world's first undersea museum, the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park is located in Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. It was the primary home of the US submarines during World War II and is now considered as one of the most visited national marine park in the U.S. It offers visitors many historical and cultural facts regarding life on the sea and is perfect for families, kids and adults. There are a total of five areas inside the museum that depict key events in the history of U.S. submarines and this includes a recreation room, classroom and research center. The museum also features a replica of the original SS Stavronikita.
