Rinjani National Park-Lombok-Indonesia

Rinjani National Park is one type of ecosystem with mountain rain forest and savanna located on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Mount Rinjani National Park is designated as a National Park by Decree of the Minister of Forestry No.280/Kpts-II/1997 with extensive field 40.000hA although the extent of more than 41,000 ha.

Rinjani National Park have a variety of flora, among others; Nettles (Laportea stimuli), Dedurenan (Aglaea argentea), Bayur (Pterospermum Javanicum), Banyan (Ficus Benjamina), Jambu-jambuan (Syzygium sp) keruing (Dipterocarpus Hasseltii), Rerau (D. Imbricatus) , Mountain Pine (Casuarina Junghuniana) Eidelweis (Anaphalis Javanica) and several kinds of orchids endemic forests is Perisstylus Rinjaniensis and P. Lombokensis. While the variety of fauna which is owned by TNGR are among others; Weasel Rinjani (Paradoxurus Hemaprhoditus Rinjanicus), Deer (Muntiacus muntjak Nainggolani), ebony leaf monkey (Trachypithecus auratus Kohlbruggei), pangolin (Manis javanicus), Horn Cikukua bird (Philemon Buceroides Neglectus), Dawah forest (Ducula Lacernulata Sasakensis), nape black orioles (Oriolus Chinensis Broderipii) and several types of reptiles, plus a number of species of freshwater fish that live in the lake Segara Anak, among others; Oreochromis mossambicus and carp.
