Petronas Twin Towers

PETRONAS towers are two twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which had become the world's tallest buildings seen from high main entrance to the highest structure.

The tower was designed by César Pelli, and finished as high as 88 floors built in 1998 with a design that reflects the roots of Islamic culture in Malaysia. On October 17, 2003, Taipei 101 took the record for the twin towers.

PETRONAS tower stands 452 meters tall or up to 1483 feet at the count. Forms the floor of two intersecting rectangular shape and the eight-pointed star at each point of intersection to add a piece of the circle. César Pelli design uses a common motif in Islamic art since the Islamic culture has become typical of Malaysia.

Between the two tower, built a bridge (or Skybridge Air Jejantas) which connects the two towers at 41 floors and 42. This bridge is the purpose of visiting tourists who come to the tower PETRONAS with a limited number of tickets (about 1200 pieces). In addition, the bridge is also used for evacuation in the event of an emergency in a tower so that residents can move to a safe tower. Like other high buildings, Menara PETRONAS can sway in the wind, so when the bridge construction was not rigidly mounted on the second tower.

Below, there is Suria KLCC which is one of the busiest shopping centers in Malaysia and there are Restaurants that provide a jogging track, playing pool, and playground for children as well as demonstrating the pond with a fountain symphonic. In addition there is also the PETRONAS Philharmonic Orchestra.
